Learn More About Our Festival

Right before the 2014 Schuylkill County Wine Festival, our co-founder Bob Tobash passed away unexpectedly. A team of people have stepped up to take over some of the duties previously completed by Mr. Tobash and his wife, Mary. It is our hope that as the festival continues to grow we too, will grow with it.

ARE YOU READY FOR 2017??

9th Annual Schuylkill County Wine Festival

The theme for the 9th Annual Wine Festival is Wine & Roses, which will be held in the beautiful Hegins Park in Hegins PA on

September 3, 2017

Twelve wineries will be represented at the 2017 Schuylkill County Wine Festival. Each year each of these wineries along with many other Pennsylvania wineries are represented at the PA Farm Show in January. They all have a history of producing award-winning wines. You can check out their selections by visiting the individual winery’s website. Our festival gives participants the opportunity to taste the very best in PA wines! It’s the SOCIAL EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Each winery will bring a selection of their wines to the festival. They will provide participants with a list of their wines and you can select which you would like to sample. Admission to the festival covers the cost of sampling the wines of your choice. The wineries will have their bottles of wine for sale during the festival.

We invite attendees to bring a canopy tent, chairs, and a table where you can sit back and relax with your friends. The Hegins park offers plenty of room and shade trees for you to select the perfect spot to spend the afternoon.

Handicap accessible facilities and parking is available.

A pick up tent will be available for your wine purchases so you can sit back and relax then pick up your wine purchases later!

New picnic tables have been placed throughout the park for your pleasure and comfort while you enjoy the live entertainment of D J Dan Poletti and The Collins Bunch will entertain all day at the park’s center stage. The 60’s Boys will perform two sets on the large stage at the west end of the park.

An excellent cuisine and new and unique foods will be available to all festival goers.  Local and surrounding area food vendors will supply foods such as: beef, scampi, crab cakes, fries, brisket, chicken, pork, hamburgers, wraps & soups to name a few.

Wine-related vendor items will also be displayed for purchase including painted wine glasses, wine jellies, wine cabinets,  wine bottle nightlights, coasters, cheese, and more!

Join us for a day in the country at the beautiful Hegins Park and enjoy a day of wine tasting, fun, food, and fellowship with family & friends.

All proceeds of the annual Schuylkill County Wine Festival benefit the Hegins Park Association, local churches, community pool, fire and ambulance companies, and local events!
